Travis's Daily Travel Journal -San Jacinto Mountains

I went to San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. I did the agents of discovery for the desert garden trail. We also hiked the Pacific Crest Trail.I saw some red trees.The bark was red! iNaturalist said that the tree is called a Manzanita. I saw some lichen that looked like a bush on a tree. I found out it was called Wolf lichen.We wanted to watch a rocket launch with fries and hot chocolate. Then the launch got scrubbed because of a hydrogen leak. I was very sad and disappointed and angry and sad and … did I mention disappointed? Yesterday had some crazy vegetation and disappointment in the skies.
