Travis's Daily Travel Journal -Joshua Tree NP

I went to Joshua Tree National Park. We were driving awhile to get there. We went on 3 trails. One of them was the Key’s View. It had a really pretty view, except for the gross smog we saw. It blocked some of our view. The second trail was the Hidden Valley Trail. It had a bunch of rocks. I pretended I was the Greek Sphinx on a rock. If you took all the water tanks in the world and filled them with fun, that wouldn’t be close to the fun I had! The last hike was to the Beaver Dam. It had a pretty lake. It was like looking in a mirror. All the rocks and trees were reflected in the water. Joshua Trees are pretty cool. Did you know they are actually yuccas on a tree?
