Ainsley's Daily Travel Journal -Joshua Tree NP

I went to Joshua Tree National Park in CA. It was cool. I rock climbed. I found a tunnel then we had to rock climb out of it. We hiked on 3 trails. I became a Junior Ranger again! I learned all about Joshua Trees. They are only found in the Mojave Desert. Beaver Tail vs. Prickle Pear: My mom said Ainsley look at the prickle pear. But my dad said no it is Beaver Tail. The ranger said Prickle Pear has sharp points and the Beaver Tail has glochids. So, my dad was right! I hope everyone gets to go to this park. It is really fun!
