Ainsley's Daily Travel Journal -Tuscon, AZ

I had a long journey until our RV broke. We hula hooped and ate lunch and ran all at a gas station. It was a Flying J travel center. So there was room for dad to fix the RV while we played. We heard and saw a train. It was loud! I was happy to get out of that gas station.

I went to the International Wildlife Museum in Tuscon. It was fun. There was a Santa thing. I wrote a letter to Santa and played a cake walk. I won cookies! We learned all sorts of things. We learned from elephants to lions and more. My favorite part was seeing the live bugs in their cages. I saw a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. This is something I saw during Zoo Lab in Nebraska.

Then I went to Saguaro National Park. It was fun. I went on many trails. We learned all sorts of stuff. I saw a stick figure on a rock. This is called a petroglyph. The cacti were really strong because many of them were holding up there arms to show their muscles! Oh my goodness, it was a really long day!
